Latest Exhibition News: February 2019

On a recent visit to the pretty Derbyshire village of Hayfield we dropped into the Rosie Lee Cafe on Kinder Road for a drink and a bite to eat.

Hayfield is popular with walkers bound for Kinder Scout and the surrounding fells, with cyclists out for a day in the saddle and with visitors like us wanting to explore one of the Peak District’s better known villages and formerly home to Arthur Lowe of Dad’s Army fame. We’d been to the Rosie Lee cafe before and knew it would be just up our street. After delicious toasties and lashings of coffee, I left my card behind the counter and we continued our exploration of the village and riverside. Soon after I was pleased to hear from Paula Holden, the owner, inviting me to exhibit there in February, 2019.

Here’s hoping we get some fine weather then and no beasts from the east!
